The Suzani jacket is made of cotton and embroidered entirely by hand with the traditional Central Asian Suzani technique, in chain stitch with relief.

The design is clean so that the embroidery rules: mao collar that stylizes, straight and short kimono-style cut, dropped shoulder and wide sleeves that you can wear three-quarter length, revealing the turned-up cuff. Inside it is lined in camel and white striped cotton, the same fabric that finishes the cuffs and the view. It has two side pockets hidden in the seam.

As it is handwork, the pattern, thread density and placement of the motif vary from one jacket to another. They are all unique pieces. No two are alike.

In the photo Laura is 5’7″ and is wearing it open. It is loose fitting and falls loosely at the hips. It is one size fits all and is designed to fit from 36 to 42.

CARE

For hand embroidery, hand wash cold with neutral soap or delicate dry cleaner. Do not use bleach. Iron inside out at medium temperature and do not steam directly on the embroidery. Store hanging.
